India’s legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has made some very sharp comments about the Australian Cricket team and their captain Ricky Pointing. This comes in the wake of Ricky Pointing’s comments on the infamous ‘walk-out’ of Sunil Gavaskar in a match in 1981.

Gavaskar has replied to these comments and said that Pointing, who said that he has seen this incident, may not even be seven years old when this happened and thus could not understand the situation in which the above mentioned incident happened. He suggested Pointing to get back to the video once again and try to understand why he had to behave so. He added that, he has accepted his mistake on the following day and openly apologized for walking-out unlike Australians who never accept their mistakes.

Then he went on to speak about the behavior of the Australian Cricket team on field. He mentioned about the fowl language the Australian cricketers are used to and asked them to realize that it will not help them winning the game nor make them popular. He sighted many names who expressed the same opinion to prove that Australians are indeed known for their offensive behavior on field.

He also added that Ricky Pointing made such inappropriate remarks on him, only to divert the media attention from their miserable performance in their recent tour of India.
